The sun shone on our Sustainability Picnic as the girls tucked into fresh, locally sourced delights on the decking.
The girls’ trays were piled high with egg mayonnaise, tuna and cheese sandwiches, crudites, British apples and homemade sponge cake prepared by our chef.
The conversation turned to caring for our planet and many of the girls with packed lunches compared their environmentally-friendly flasks and reusable Tupperware boxes.
There was a lovely buzz at lunchtime and the reason behind the picnic – looking after our planet and addressing climate change – was real food for thought.
