On 29th February, Year 1 had an amazing visit to Brooklands transport Museum. We learned all about the history of transport and saw old and new planes, buses, bicycles and cars. The girls enjoyed sitting in a Formula One racing car, getting on and off a variety of buses and learning how aeroplanes are made. They went inside Concorde and a cargo plane and they saw how the Sultan of Oman travelled in style in his own private plane. They took part in a craft session where they made their own ‘loopy gliders’ and saw a car made of lego. Everyone had a brilliant day and learned lots of interesting facts about transport.
