In the Prep department, emphasis is placed on extending and enriching learning through our broad curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
We provide a structured curriculum and a developed study skill and examination preparation programme in order to prepare children for the school of their choice at 11 onwards. This includes:
- Mathematics
- English comprehension
- Creative Writing
- Verbal Reasoning
- Non-Verbal Reasoning
The curriculum is enhanced with Games afternoons with our PE teachers and specialist teachers provide Music, Art and French. Each year group enjoys a residential trip in the summer.
Year 6 is a special year at Ursuline Prep. Each girl becomes a School Prefect and also has a ‘buddy’ in our Reception or Nursery class, helping to take care of some of the youngest members of our community. We have a series of special events for Year 6 in order to mark their final year with us.
